We're Scott and Rich. Friends, former roommates, and business partners for more than 15 years.
We started a web agency in San Diego in 2011. In 2013, a startup took us to Chile through Startup Chile. Then our careers took us in different directions, building products and growth programs at companies big and small.
We kept talking about what we'd build together next. Now we're doing it. 2fish is home to that work, with AI-first products we can keep exploring and expanding.

Scott grew up watching his dad take the leap to start a landscaping business. That bet on building something of your own stayed with him.
He founded Tymber in 2018. After BLAZE acquired it in 2023, he led e-commerce and later AI initiatives there. His experience spans the work of a founder, product designer, salesperson, and operator.
His products have processed over $1B in online orders and reached more than a million users. At BLAZE, e-commerce and AI product adoption grew 4x and revenue 3x in two years.

Rich joined GoFundMe as its first growth hire in 2014. He built the marketing program, then spent nine years leading growth across 18 countries and running international search.
He went on to build and grow products at Dropbox and lead growth and AI initiatives at Expatrio. Experimentation has been the thread throughout.
Now he brings that experience back to building with Scott, using AI to expand what a small team can test, learn, and ship.
